Herbal Teas
Herbal teas are a good source of nourishing supportive phytonutrients, and often slowing down to drink a cup of herbal tea can restore a sense of ease and well-being. Many herbal teas can be enjoyed hot or iced.
Brewing directions provided on the package, including the amount of tea per serving, are for therapeutic use. Teas may be made weaker by using a smaller amount and/or by brewing for a shorter time. A weaker tea may not be as effective as therapeutic levels. However, if you are primarily drinking the tea for pleasure, the therapeutic levels are not necessary. In most cases, it is suggested to not make the tea any stronger (larger amounts or longer brewing) as this will result in a bitter tea.
