Wise Cat Apothecary Chico Dandy Herbal “Coffee” is perfect for those times you want the comforting taste of coffee without the caffeine. The blend of roasted dandelion root and roasted chicory is a favorite coffee substitute of herbalists. We roast our dandelion root to a medium-dark roast, and we grind the blended herbs to a medium-fine consistency. This makes the “coffee” easy to make in either a traditional infuser or in a French press. Either way, we love our Chico Dandy hot with a spot of cream, but you the blend can enjoy the blend iced and black–or any way you like your coffee!

Besides being caffeine free and rich in flavor, our Chico Dandy may support your liver and digestive health. Dandelion is believed to support healthy liver and bile function, while chicory is considered a digestive and may, in some cases, help satisfy hunger cravings*. It should be noted that overuse of chicory may result in stomach upset, so enjoy this beverage in moderation!

We package our Chico Dandy Herbal “Coffee” blend in a food grade tin containing 3.5 oz. (about 16 servings) and in our 9.5 oz bulk bag (about 40 servings).  It is also available in our three serving sample size.
