Description
Stinging nettle is such an important plant in herbalism that the herbalist David Hoffmann has said, “When in doubt, use nettles.” Certainly the natural antihistamine in stinging nettle is a wonderful support for the body dealing with allergies. What many don’t know is that nettle is also highly nutritious and may provide support when dealing with anemia and other nutrient deficiencies. Nettle is high in iron, calcium, magnesium, vitamin C, and vitamin K. This tea also has a history of cleansing toxins from the blood and acting as a mild diuretic.* As a tea, it has a mild flavor that tastes like, well, tea. It is best steeped 15 to 20 minutes to ensure a good infusion of all its healing properties. This tea is also a gentle adaptogen and may be a good choice for someone chronically fatigue when stronger adaptogens may be too intense.
We package Stinging Nettle Tea in a 1 oz. tin which gives about 16 servings (use 1 tbsp of tea per oz cup). a
