Wise Cat Apothecary Transitions Tea was created at customer request for a tea to support the perimenopausal and menopausal body with accompanying anxiety, insomnia, digestion concerns, and night sweats. With the ingredients sage, blessed thistle, motherwort, vervain, and rosemary, our Transitions Tea can provide that support. This tea is based on Rosemary Gladstar’s Tea for Hot Flashes recipe with a few tweaks of our own. Besides helping with hot flashes, our Transitions Tea can support the body dealing with anxiety, headaches, and mild depression. It can act as a mild analgesic, as well as a digestive aid. It can also ease insomnia and may act as a mild vasodilator, as well as easing menstrual cramps.
This is a strong, bitter tea that is best as an iced tea when supporting menopausal symptoms, particularly hot flashes. The primary flavors are sage and rosemary; as such, it benefits from some sweetener such as stevia or honey. The bitter aspect makes this a good digestive tea in addition to easing perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms.* This is a tea that may take some time to love, but its many benefits make it worth the effort.
