UT Tea–Sample Size

Description

Our UT (Urinary Tract) Tea originated as a special order for a client who has chronic kidney stones. The goal was to reduce his pain and increase urination. We created a blend of stinging nettle, goldenrod, and marshmallow root that is a nourishing diuretic that also soothes irritated membranes and reduces inflammation. Stinging nettle is a highly nourishing herbal food that contains iron, calcium, magnesium, protein, and other vitamins and minerals. Its anti-inflammatory properties may soothe chronic inflammation of the bladder. Goldenrod is a diuretic and may provide support for chronic kidney concerns including kidney stones. It is also a good general anti-inflammatory. Finally, marshmallow root is mucilaginous, providing soothing support to mucous membranes in general and to the lungs and kidneys in particular. Like stinging nettle, marshmallow is a nourishing herbal food. UT Tea is a great tea to have on hand even if you don’t suffer from kidney complaints. It’s a wonderful herbal food, the goldenrod is a mild antihistamine, and the marshmallow can soothe coughs associated with cold and flu.*

Our sample size of UT Tea, packaged in a food grade tin, contains 0.25 oz of tea blend and makes about three servings.  You may also enjoy UT Tea in our regular size (1.25 oz, about 15 servings) or in our bulk size (4 oz, about 45 servings).
