GI Support Extract

Description

Wise Cat Apothecary GI Support Extract provides support for a variety of concerns involving the digestive tract. The primary herbal ingredient–barberry–is a digestive bitter. Bitters turn on digestive functions such as saliva and digestive enzyme production while also encouraging peristalsis, the wave-like motion of the muscles that move food through the GI tract. This encourages efficient digestion and may help relieve bloating. Black walnut hulls can help reduce dysbiosis–an imbalance in the gut biome; it’s also considered a vermifuge. Cloves have been used to expel parasites, as well as to reduce gas; it’s also a circulatory stimulant.  Papaya leaf powder may help stabilize blood sugar and may help relieve constipation. Finally, fennel seeds may help reduce indigestion.* Note: If you have GERD, use a small amount at first. Digestive bitters stimulate the production of digestive acid and may make GERD worse in some people. Discontinue if GERD persists or worsens, or if diarrhea or vomiting occur with use. 

Do not use if you are pregnant or have an autoimmune disorder. 

GI Support Extract is bottled in a 2-oz amber glass bottle with dropper. In application, a “dropper” is 1/2 dropper pulled up by bulb on dropper. Contains about 12 servings.
