Description
Mullein Extract, like Mullein Tea, can be used for a lingering or dry cough associated with asthma, COPD, and colds. Dried mullein leaves are energetically moistening and cooling, and they can act as an expectorant while also soothing irritated mucous membranes.* Mullein Extract can be a good stand in for tea when you are on the go and don’t have time to wait 20 minutes to brew a medicinal tea. A bottle of extract is easy to transport and easy to use: simply place four droppers (1 tsp) into a small amount of water and swallow. Note: because vegetable glycerin is becoming expensive, we suggest this extract for short term use only–for a cold or flu. For long-term use for chronic conditions, we still recommend the tea as it is more cost effective.
Our Mullein Extract is packaged in a 2-oz amber glass bottle with dropper. In application, a “dropper” equals about 1/2 dropper when squeezing the dropper bulb. Each bottle contains about about 12 servings.
